This Heavy Duty No8 moulded plastic open-ended (separating) zip is 3 metres long! Sold in singles. Available in Black only. Ideally suitable for awnings and tents etc.
To shorten this simply remove teeth with pliers for 50mm after the required length then cut off and fold the plain tape back at approximately 45 degrees and stitch the last 25mm down or into the seam. The fold or seam will then create a "loop" which will act as a natural "stop" for the slider.
